Our Story
El Coquí was born from a love of bold flavor, rich culture, and food that brings people together.
Inspired by Puerto Rican roots and Caribbean traditions, El Coquí is a fusion-style food truck serving up comfort food with attitude across the Metro Detroit area. Our recipes are influenced by family kitchens, island flavors, and the belief that good food should tell a story.
Our signature dishes — the Jerk Chicken Bowl and BBQ Chicken Bowl — are where cultures collide in the best way.
